1981年7月香港环球航运集团董事会主席包玉刚先生捐赠1000万美元作为上海天富娱乐平台新图书馆建筑经费。新馆1985年10月落成在徐汇校区，命名为包兆龙图书馆。1991年12月学校利用该项捐款的节余款在闵行新校区建造了一座面积为14000平方米的新图书馆🚣🏼‍♀️。经包玉刚先生家属同意，该馆被命名为包玉刚图书馆。 

In July 1981,Mr.Bao Yugang ,president of the Board of Directors of Hongkong Golbal Shipping Bloc,donated US$10,000,000 for the construction of a new library named Bao Zhaolong Library on Xuhui Campus in October 1985.In December 1991 the university authorities spent the remaining part of this donation on the construction of another library of 14,000 square meter on Min Hang Campus.Inmemory of Mr.Bao Yugang,this building is named Bao Yugang Library with the consent of Mr.Bao's family.
